Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century: challenges and Opportunities for educators 1
PRELIMINARY
The introduction must contain (in order) general background, previous literature review ( state of the
art ) as the basis for scientific novelty statements of articles, scientific novelty statements, and research
problems or hypotheses. At the end of the introduction, the purpose of the study should be stated. In the
scientific article format, it is not allowed to have a literature review as in the research report, but it is realized
in the form of a previous literature review ( state of the art ) to show the scientific novelty of the article.
The introduction of the article generally contains rational or logical reasons related to the choice of the
theme, title, or variable that is raised as a research issue. In the introduction, interesting issues that become the
rationale for research are discussed in depth, supported by theoretical studies, empirical findings (results of
previous research), and field facts. It is important to point out the research gap , as well as the
theoretical gap , which is the basis for bringing up the issues to be researched.

METHOD
The methods used in problem solving include analytical methods. The methods used in completing the
research are listed in this section. The method is only used for research results articles. This section can be
omitted for a conceptual article.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Results and discussion contains the results of research findings and discussion. Write down the
findings obtained from the results of research that has been carried out and must be supported by adequate
data. Research results and findings must be able to answer the research questions or hypotheses in the
introduction. Generally, research data can be presented using tables. An example of its use is shown in table
1.

Especially for conceptual articles, it is enough to only contain the discussion. There is no need for a
description of the results. Thus, for conceptual articles, the title only reads 'Discussion'. The author can
include pictures, graphs, or diagrams in the discussion (also can be in the introduction or method according to
the needs of the author). Figure 1 will provide an example of the use of images in the National Conference on
Education (Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century: challenges and Opportunities for educators).

CLOSING
The closing contains conclusions and suggestions. Conclusions describe the answers to the hypotheses
and/or research objectives or findings obtained. The conclusion does not contain a repetition of the results and
discussion, but rather a summary of the findings as expected in the objectives or hypotheses. Suggestions
present things to be done related to further ideas from the research.

REFERENCE
All references referred to in the text of the article must be listed in the References section. Reference
should contain reference libraries derived from primary sources (scientific journals and amounted to a
minimum of 80% of the total bibliography) and very direkomendassikan contain aspects of novelty
( novelty ). References that are considered to have good novelty are those published in the last 10 years. Each
article contains at least 10 (ten) reference bibliography.
Writing a bibliography should use a reference management application such
as Mendeley or References Ms. Words . The space for the reference list is 1 space. The writing format used at
JBKR (National Conference on Education (Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century: challenges and
Opportunities for educators)) is in accordance with the APA 6  Edition ( American Psychological
th

Association ) format . Here is an example of using multiple references.
