PROSPECTS OF ORGANIC AGRICULTURE
In this study, given the definition of "organic agriculture", given the positive
factors and negative factors impact on the environment. Shows statistics and research
results in production of organic products, territories occupied by organic production.
Specified on the advantages of the use of organic products for producers and
consumers in general. Collected data on the characteristics of supply and demand for
organic products in several countries. Author determined agricultural analyst
forecasts on the volume of organic production in the next few years. Outlines the
results of national surveys of demand for organic products. Outlines the obstacles
Ukrainian producers towards the successful development of this promising direction
of agriculture. Considered controversial issue of the Law of Ukraine "On the
production and circulation of organic agricultural products and raw materials" in
relation to organic production itself and its producers. Posted conclusions, made
proposals increase the popularity and development of organic agriculture.
Key words: greening, organic farming, alternative agriculture, biologization,
certification, standards, transition.
