ESSAY INTRODUCTIION
WHY?
The introduction tells the reader (or examiner) what they are about to
read. You should write a short summary of your ideas and why they
are important. It should be clear and concise. 50 words.

HOW?
Your introduction should contain 3 sentences

1. General statement about the topic + why is it important?

2. What you will discuss in your essay + 2 ideas
3. General closing statement

 ESSAY STRUCTURE
WHY?
A structured essay is essential to get a high mark for Organisation.
Examiners look for clear paragraphing, logical thought and good
transitioning between paragraphs. 70 words per paragraph.

HOW?
Use the PEET structure
Point -Do you agree/disagree with the question?
Explanation -Why?
Example -How does this happen?
Transition -Introduce a new idea from the next point

ESSAY CONCLUSION
WHY?
You must end your essay in a clear way. The examiner expects you to
make a clear choice between the 2 options based on the arguments
that you have already discussed. 50 words.

HOW?
Your conclusion should contain 2 sentences

DECISION -Which is the best option and why?

PREDICTION -What will happen if this option is chosen?

EXAMPLE
