Getting Started Preset

Touch Screen Menu Probe
1 Attach Probe at the base front of the system.
Probe cable extends right.

2 Turn on system. Power

The power is located on the upper left panel
STC Pots
3 Press New Patient, enter name and ID number New Patient
Person Icon
To exit: Press the Person Icon Flow Comment
PW Depth/Range
4 Press Preset, Select the desired exam on Touch Screen Store
Review
Print
5 Press Probe, Select desired Probe on Touch Screen. Calipers Freeze
Press Probe to exit Print B Gain

Brightness Note: You may also

Turn B Gain Knob: change gain on the
Clockwise: Brighter frozen Image. Rotary Knob
Enter Eflow
Counter-Clockwise: Darker
Power Flow Zoom
Depth
For a smaller image and more depth: Press toggle down
For a larger image and less depth: Press toggle up Measure (continued)
To take another measurement,
Freeze
Freezes the image. Press again to unfreeze. press the Caliper key again and repeat procedure.

Measure Press Freeze again to erase measurement box.
Press Freeze

Press the Caliper key, move with trackball. STC Slide Pots
Individual gain controls.
Press Enter to anchor the starting point. Used to fine-tune overall gain at specific depth.

Trackball to end point of measurement. Number appears in box. Start with all in middle position then adjust
Imaging Modes Focus
Press Focus key.
Split image: Press twice.
Use trackball to move focal point.
Single image: Press Keep focus at area of interest.
Pulsed Wave Doppler Zoom
Press PW Knob Press PW Knob again for Triplex mode. Press Zoom key.

Gain is adjusted by turning PW Knob Use Rotary Knob to enlarge image.

Use Trackball to move zoomed area around the screen.
Press Select Key to toggle between live 2D and live

Doppler Screen Press Zoom key to turn off.

Note: You can zoom after image is frozen
Color Doppler
Print Image
Press the Flow Knob Press Freeze.
Gain is adjusted by turning the Flow Knob
Then press Print key
Power Flow
Store Image
Press the Power Flow Key Press Freeze.
Gain is adjusted by turning the Flow Knob
Use the track ball and enter keys to move and size color box Then press Store key

Eflow Store Moving Video Clip

While imaging live, Press Store Key
Press eFLOW Key
Gain is adjusted by turning the Flow Knob To Review Stored Images
Use the track ball and enter keys to move and size color box Press Freeze, Press Review

Comments Touch Select All on the Touch Screen

Press Comment on Touch Screen or Keyboard
Move cursor with Trackball. Press word from menu on Touch Touch Full Screen to enlarge.
Screen, or type. Use Next Page/Previous Page to view images
Press Comment on Touch Screen or Keyboard to exit Press Review to exit
