What is an endemic?

An endemic is a disease or a condition found in a certain area or among a group

of people. It is one affecting many people at the same time, spreading from
person to person.
Endemics can occur when an infectious agent (such as a virus) suddenly becomes
more active in an area where it already existed or when people who weren’t
previously susceptible to an infectious agent suddenly start getting sick from it
and sometimes when an outbreak spreads throughout an area where the disease
wasn’t previously known. Sometimes it can affect a large area as well.
Examples of endemic diseases include chicken pox.
What is a pandemic?

A pandemic is a outbreak affects the whole world, mainly a virus or a disease. The best
example is the COVID-19 outbreak we are experiencing right now. It is a worldwide
outbreak and many have suffered or are currently suffering from it. A pandemic is
different from an endemic. The difference been a pandemic and and an endemic is that
endemics are only in a certain part, whereas a pandemic is something that has spread
over several continents or countries, sometimes even worldwide!
Pandemics can occur because of increase of human-animal contact and global travel.
The reason why global travel pandemics can occur is because if person got caught with
the disease and goes on a public transport, it can spread. The reason why human-animal
contact can cause a pandemic is because animals can carry several diseases and spread
it to people.
