1. “Determination is worth fulfilling.” - Despite the fact that many people advise
her to quit teaching in order to earn more money, her commitment to teach her kids
is priceless. She understands the importance of the teacher's advice in helping the
students reach their goals.
2. “Death of Filipino idealism” - It is demonstrated in the article that the process
of the death of Filipino idealist in the implementation of government schools is a
fact. Also, the challenges of maintaining one's enthusiasm and drive in increasing the
country's educational standards.

3. “The Filipino’s mentality towards competition” - The incident also highlights the
competitive attitude of Filipinos. The pursuit of personal and professional growth can
often be perceived as a threat to another man's position or authority. It's as though
excellent public workers are routinely penalized for performing their duties, while
bad rewards are given for doing things that aren't their jobs.
