GRAIN, NEW WINE,
AND OIL MINISTRIES
VALENZUELA
By: Bro. Tim Tosio (GNWOM-Valenzuela)

The first thanksgiving celebration (2021) of the

Grain, New Wine, and Oil Ministries Valenzuela out-
reach was a joyous event as it started on a blessed praise
and worship led by Sister Mhel Tosio, Sister JL Borro-
meo, Sister Lhai Camacho, and the rest of the praise and
worship team. It was then followed by the motivational
speech given by our senior pastor, Francis Nicolas, who
left the crowd enthralled with his speech. The word was
then given by Pastor Ariel Tosio about the Household
serving the Lord (Josh. 24:15). After the quick word,
lunch was served throughout the members and without
any hesitation, the second part of the program started.

Games, Raffles, and presentations from the chil-

dren, youth, women, and men filled the second half
of the program hosted by one of the outreach elders
along with Sister Mhel Tosio. It was a moment filled
with laughter and cries, as the women gave a wonderful
dance performance and the children, with the guidance
of Sister Janet Relles, presented a marvelous dance piece.
The men’s ministry did not come unprepared and sang
an impressive Christmas song. Lastly, a family-centered
presentation of the youth touched the heart of every
parent present in the place. The event ended with every-
one feeling grateful and happy, and with that in hand,
a picture-taking (with masks on) to serve as a souvenir
from the memorable event.

glory belongs to God.
Pre-registered four teams of five members each compet-
ed for Family Fuse, an adaptation of the Family Feud,
as the event’s main game. After two elimination rounds,
youth from Team 3G’s (Gandang Glory to God) cham-
pioned with members Joyce Balintec, Clarabelle Bis-
monte, Laureena Rodriguez, Marinella Lagman, and
Zandra Bismonte. Other teams that joined were men
and women from Team Fire and Team The One, as well
as youth from Team Barney.

On the event’s second day, Bro. Gaylord Galang spoke

on the topic “We Choose Jesus,” in which he discussed
the seven R’s from Joshua 24. The first pointer was RE-
ALITY, in which he discussed how the facts you have
today are never more important than the truth God has.
The second was the REASONS. “We have a million
reasons to serve Jesus,” he explained. RESOLUTION
was the third word and it refers to Joshua’s conclusion
in Joshua 24:14-15 to serve the Lord with sincerity
and truth. It is now up to you to RESPOND, which is
the fourth word. He went on to say that you are never
forced to choose God, but if you do, you never lose. If
you choose God, you should REPENT and RENEW
OUR COMMITMENT TO FOLLOW GOD IN ALL
THINGS. Lastly, your decision to choose Him will re-
sult in an undeniably favorable RESULT because there
are blessings that come with serving Jesus. “Kapag sin-
abing HOME, it is not a place. It is a person and it
is JESUS,” he stated. He was joined in his testimony
by his wife, Ruby Galang, and son, Tobey Nehemiah
Galang, who both testified about the God whom he and
his family serve.

Aside from the raffle prizes, there was a special segment

in which the “sugod bahay” team visited the home of a
randomly selected person and blessed them with goods
and cash.
