Conversion from sintered metal to paper brake linings is possible with serial numbers
520/0201 - 2023
522/0201 - 2089
524/0201 - 2089

Paper linings are used as standard from serial numbers 520/2024, 522/2022, 524/2090 onwards.

Warning:
Conversion may only be carried out up to following serial numbers if admissible gross
vehicle weight is reduced from previous figure of 12.5 t to 10.5 t.

Please note following when converting:
● Lugs on disc brake G 512.101.150.010 (see
item 1) must be removed to avoid errors in
future work in this area.
● Intermediate discs may then only be fitted offset
on bolts (see item 2).

Set actuating cylinder:

● Tighten adjusting screws until braking effect is
felt on rear wheel (rear wheel locks).
● Then unscrew adjusting screw by 1 2/3 turns
and lock in this position using lock nut.

Fitting requirements for Gr.3 and Gr.3S front loader

Up to serial number 40000:
Two brackets must also be welded to the arm when retrofitting. Please refer to the drawing on the last
page for the position and dimensions.
The two pressure pipes supplied must first be adapted.

From serial number 40001 to 43000:

Two brackets must also be welded to the arm when retrofitting. Please refer to the drawing on the last
page for the position and dimensions.

From serial number 43001 onwards:

Retrofitting requires no additional work.

Pipe-break valve:

The pipe-break valve (A / is only present in the left-hand lift cylinder) must be removed to ensure
trouble-free damper operation.
Special tool (B) for fitting and removing the pipe-break valve (DIY).
