EXECUTIVE ORDER DESIGNATING EVERY 1ST & LAST SUNDAYS OF EVERY MONTH TO BE
THE CLEAN-UP/YCAP DAY OF BARANGAY _____________, ___________, ___________

WHEREAS, the booming population as well as the aftermath of man’s enjoyment of a

convenient lifestyle from modern technology has made most things narrower to man
bordering him to near extinction as the ecology is becoming unfriendly to human due to
pollution that adversely affected the environment and ruining drastically nature and all
life including man;

WHEREAS, the destruction of the universe is inevitable without action from man who is
also the primary perpetrator to global warming and climate change because of his own
mistakes against mother earth like indiscriminate cutting of trees, over-use of the
natural resources, extreme addiction to a convenient living and too much pollution;

WHEREAS, the disturbing truths about our collapsing environment, the barangay with
the rest of its citizen could still do something to help save the universe by conducting
routine clean-up (YCAP) in the barangay;

WHEREAS, the conduct of clean-up/YCAP is very significant not only to waste reduction
but this is also beneficial to the general health of the citizens while awareness of the
youths and the younger generation to a clean and green environment is enhanced for a
brighter tomorrow for them;

NOW THEREFORE, I GODOFREDO B. BORJE, Punong Barangay of _____________,

________, ____________, by the virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby
designate the 1st and last Sundays of every month to be the clean-up/YCAP day in this
barangay.

EXECUTIVE ORDER MANDATING THE MAINTENANCE & SUSTAINABILITY OF BARANGAY HERBARY

WHEREAS, the common knowledge that herbal plants are effective remedy of common ailments in the
rural areas during the early days of civilization or maybe during the primordial periods have not
stopped our geniuses from formulating the modern-day medicines that come in various forms of
tablets, capsules or injected intravenously to patients;

WHEREAS, the efficacy of herbal plants have become infamous due to inconvenience in the
preparation methods, the lengthy time incurred during preparation and the limited storage of the
home-made medicines as compared against the scientifically processed medicines(commercial drugs)
that we have today, these are readily available to be served at our most convenience and provided
with longer storage span for use during emergency cases and unfavorable situations like typhoon
strike, bridge collapse and other ecological catastrophes that may impair the natural flow of life in a
particular area or maybe when there exists a peace uncertainty in a particular locality;

WHEREAS; as open as our knowledge that herbal plants could treat various ailments is also the truth
that we are constantly growing in population immersing a number of the citizen deeper to poverty that
ultimately deprived them of their right to a healthy life due to incapacity to purchase commercial drugs
for their ailments, these they could have enjoyed somehow if they only know how to utilize herbal
plants which are found scattering and abundant from vegetation located in their own locality and these
they could use freely to treat their ailments;

NOW THEREFORE, I _________________________, __________________ of

hereby mandate maintenance and sustainability of Barangay Herbary of
___________________________Santa, Ilocos Sur .

This Order further mandates the following to wit:

1. All Barangay Officials together with the BNS and BHW’s designates shall worked hand in
hand for the full implementation of this order. They are tasked to plant various medicinal plants to a
specific area in the community, identify the plants and provide necessary information as to the kind of
disease/ailments they are prescribed to.

2. The BNS and BHW office shall be provided with an archive of these medicinal plants including
their mode of preparations for public information dissemination.
 3. All BNS and BHW’s designates shall familiarize themselves about these medicinal plants and
equipped properly with sufficient information so they could readily deliver them to the rural folks.

4. Source of Fund: Clean & Green Program

EXECUTIVE ORDER MANDATING THE MAINTENANCE & SUSTAINABILITY OF COMMUNITY GARDEN

WHEREAS, our time has come that we must learn to properly manage our world particularly the
narrowing area of lands that we are sharing altogether under the sun and upon the cradle of the earth
because we are all aware that we are not decreasing in number but we are multiplying instead;

WHEREAS, this phenomenon has been the major dilemma of our aging generation because somehow
we are no longer innocent about the effect of population boom, not only does we are going to learn to
minimize space that we would need for homes but we are also going to adapt ourselves to measures
that would attend to our specific needs in response to land conversion programs of the government in
order to cater to industrial and commercial development;

WHEREAS, a particular effect of land conversions is the shortage in food supply while demand is
constantly surging higher because of population increase hence the need to utilize the remaining
spaces within our own backyards for gardening is imperative;

WHEREAS, the barangay government to provide the community with the best example shall establish
the community garden to be managed by the barangay officials with the help of 4P’s families;

NOW THEREFORE, I _________________________, __________________ of

hereby mandate maintenance and sustainability of Community Garden of
___________________________Santa, Ilocos Sur with the following features to wit:

1. A community garden shall be established in the barangay, to be maintained and sustained by

barangay officials and 4P’s families.

2. The Municipal Agricultural Office shall provide for the seedlings and seeds to be used in this
project.

3. 4P’s families and the under-weight Pre-school children are expected to benefit from this
project.
