1. Explain Gagne’s conditions of learning.
2. Make a simple lesson outline (teaching sequence) using Gagne’s instruction events.
3. Articulate the benefits of using Gagne’s principles in teaching.

Activity:
Before reading the entire module, see if you can arrange the nine steps in lesson presentation
(instructional events) in their proper order. Read and arrange the steps by numbering them.

6___ 8. Elicit performance
2___ 9. Identify the objective

Analysis:
1. Explain and justify your arrangement (before reading the entire module) of the nine steps
in lesson presentation or instructional events.
I arranged the Nine Events of Instruction through analysing my own understanding because the
nine events of instruction provide a framework for an effective learning process. Each step addresses a
form of communication that supports the learning process. When each step is completed, learners are
much more likely to be engaged and to retain the information or skills that they are being taught. And also
the intended to provide teachers, trainers, instructors, and instructional designers with a set of guidelines
to create efficient and effective learning experiences.

2. Explain the importance of following the correct steps in lesson presentation.

It is important to follow the correct steps in lesson presentation because a good properly built lesson
plan helps a teacher to ask proper and important questions timely. This will engage the student
interaction and communication in an effective way. Thus, it helps in retaining the lesson in the
classroom. And helps teachers break down each lesson into a defined flow with specific classroom
activities and gives them a schedule they can stick to; and it gives the regular teacher confidence
knowing that class time is being used effectively , and that he or she won't need to repeat the lesson
later.
