Chapter 4

A. Research Summary

In this chapter of our research you will see the data we have gathered

through survey. Here you will discern the results of the 50 adolescent

respondents, where 15 males and 35 females are the respondent’s total

population. The outcome of this research is what we fairly expected due to our

societies current issues, where bullying is “normal”. The sampling we used is

convenience sampling due to the pandemic where it is the easiest kind of data

to obtain.

B. Result of Descriptive Analysis

Table 1 shows that 15 (30%) Male and 35 (70%) Female are the respondents

of this survey.

Table: 2) Have you ever been bullied?

Table 2 tell us that 42 (84%) of the respondents suffered being bullied, while

the remaining 8 (16%) have never suffered being bullied.

The outcome of table 3 shows us that 43 (86%) experienced being teased

inside or outside of school, and only 7 (14%) di not experienced it.

This table displays that 49 (98%) of the respondents observed others being

bullied, and only 1 (2%) did not.

believe.

Table 6 shows that 35 (70%) of the people disagree that fighting back is the

best way to deal with bullies, 15 (30%) agreed to this.

Only 15 (30%) disagree to the question of this table and 35 (70%) agreed to

As seen on this table 30 (60%) of the responses says that the bullies will not

go away if you ignore them, and 20 (40%) of them did believe so.

Table 9 presents that 28 (56%) says that bullies are the only people that hurt

other people, and 22 (44%) disagrees.

Table 10 demonstrates that 26 (52%) of the respondents say they feel

depressed because of being bullied, and 24 of them says that they don’t.

C. Discussion
This chapter presents the analysis of data and elucidation that we

referred to our Review of Related Literature (RRL). The purpose of this study

is to show how bullying affect the physical and mental health of the people

who are bullied. The survey was conducted using internet through Google

Forms due to the pandemic we are experiencing. As seen above the results

are summarized in each of the segments.
