1. Interview teachers in your school to identify the balance of purposes for


assessment. What does the assessment pyramid look like?

It is critical to select an assessment method to determine how successful students have


accomplished the course's learning objectives. The evaluation determines whether the teacher
should go on to the next lesson or whether remediation is required. Also, to track students'
development in terms of what they've learned from the session and assess their progress.

2. Analyze 3 samples of assessment tasks being used in your school. Are they designed
to be assessment of, for, or as Learning? Explain your answers.

It is designed for Assessment of Learning because the main goal is to evaluate,


measure, or check the students' progress. Since summative learning assessment (quizzes,
tests, examinations, and projects) involves making judgments based on established criteria to
certify learning. Scores are used to analyze the results and determine how well kids are
learning. Also, it is the foundation for reporting to parents on a student's academic achievement.
