1. "We cannot hold a torch to light another's path without brightening our own"
– Ben Swwetland
If we wish to make a positive difference in the world or make another person happy, we must
first light our candle. To have any possibility of changing anything, we must think and live
positively. It's a lot simpler to say than it is to do. Because life gets in the way, it isn't easy to be
cheerful and wake up with a good attitude every day. Everyone has bad days, but it's a lot
simpler to get through them if you keep a good attitude. We all do. And we all feel exhausted
and hostile when we spend time around them. Emotions are contagious. So, when we're around a
person who has a good, positive attitude, their energy spreads, and we suddenly feel rejuvenated.

2"All men are pretty and much alike. It is only by culture what we are not apart"
- Confucious

For me, this means that we can group all the same people according to their race, gender
or attitudes. Still, when it comes to culture, just like us Filipinos, rich or poor, we can be
identified as Filipinos based on the distinct characteristics that are unique to us Filipinos or
because of our culture that we behave in accordance to what Filipinos usual/innate
behavior.

1. "If we teach today as we taught yesterday, we rob our children of tomorrow." –

John Dewey
I believe John Dewey was attempting to convey that if we continue to teach new generations in
the same manner as we did 50 years ago, our knowledge will never progress or grow. Every year,
it appears that people are inventing innovations, new cures for a variety of ailments and illnesses,
and new technologies. I believe it is because of the rapid advancement of technology that
researchers and scientists have accomplished so much more with all of this new technology.
A 21st-century teacher excels in learning and innovation, effective communication, information,
media, technological skills, and life and job skills. A teacher must have them to survive in the
twenty-first century and contribute to the development of twenty-first-century students. I've
realized that to be a highly collaborative teacher. I need to be well-versed in learning, science,
and economics, especially in today's technologically advanced world. I need to have 21st-century
abilities as a potential teacher. It is critical to be a successful and efficient educator in the future.
Because if I don't have those talents, how can I teach my future students moral, ethical, and
spiritual qualities.
2." The teacher is a diplomat and ambassador of tact and sensitivity as he/she facilitates
production, positive reactions among the multiplicity of personalities, cultures, belief and
ideas.
For me, I realize that as a teacher, you are responsible for providing classroom teaching.
They must encourage learning by taking into account the diversity of their students. They must
act positively because they are viewed as a role model in the community by the teacher.
As a future teacher, I must evaluate the distinctions among my pupils when designing effective
classroom education, taking into account their diverse cultural backgrounds, languages, skills,
attitudes, and behaviors.

1. "One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers but with gratitude to
those who touched our human feelings."
In my opinion, I don't believe there is a more important job than teaching. Teachers have the
power to shape the lives and minds of the students entrusted to them. They have the option of
treating others with respect and dignity or demeaning them. They have the option of praising and
encouraging us or might choose to devalue us. They have the option of being friendly and
understanding or the option of degrading students. They will be remembered for their deeds long
after they have passed away, and their impact will last forever because others will teach what
they have been taught us. Teaching is a significant duty, and molding lives is not something to be
taken lightly.

1. "Education in values means the cultivation of effectivity, leading the educand

through exposure to an experience of value and of the valuable"
It means that as students, we must appreciate education and be exposed to various scenarios that
require experience. Even if no one values them, love, caring, and concern remain valuable. They
are universally acknowledged as values. Values are learned and instilled. As a future teacher,
immersing ourselves in such values construction is intellectual and will train. Nothing can be
willed unless it is known. Proper knowledge must illuminate your intellect. The best approach to

enhance our brains is to form ideas, make decisions, and reason. It is critical to strengthen your
will to focus on the positive and avoid the negative.

1. "To the philosophies is so essentially human- in a sense to philosophize means living
a truly human life" J. Pieper
Reflecting on your own life is similar to philosophizing. While asking questions about your own
life, consider the roots or basis. It's crucial because having a clear idea of your purpose will
influence what you do and how you interact with situations and people in your life. A philosophy
underpins your approach to challenges and life in general. It will be there to guide your lifestyle,
thoughts, decisions, actions, and interpersonal relationships. For teachers, creating a philosophy
of education is vital as it stands as their "window" to the world and their "compass" in life. It will
stand as their guide to have an overview of what they believe. As a result, they will be able to
teach more effectively.

1. Philosophy is vital only when the questions are mine and so is the struggle towards
answers" W. Luijpen
Our philosophy of education is our "window" to the world and" compass" in life. With this it is
our responsible to have and formulate our own philosophy of education, in which is reflected in
our dealing with our becoming students, colleagues, parent and administrators. Because our
attitude towards problems and life as a whole has a underlying philosophy.
