For me the best government for the Philippines is still democracy but first what is democracy, according

to oxford language it is a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a
state, typically through elected representatives. Democracy is not flawless. No one has ever said it is.
But when compared to the alternatives, it's still the best form of government for the Philippines because
Almost always, Democratic states have freer citizens than autocratic states. They simply have the right
to vote for their government, so they decide their nation's policy and what their nation should be like by
extension. More freedom of speech and expression is open to them than in autocracies. They are
particularly free to criticize their own government. People need to stop talking about ridding themselves
of democracy. It doesn't do good for the country. The alternative that many say is to be ruled by a
dictatorship and by invaders. We have to trust the system and vote for the effective representatives. For
me the only problems is the people we vote have a negative effects in the system therefore we are the
cause of what we have problem in the system.
