07/08/2020 Marlow Vessel CD becomes Marlow Vessel Portal

As you are aware, every year we were sending you three copies of the updated Marlow Vessel CD.

However, this procedure is no longer practical for various reasons such as:

a. Many PC’s no longer have CD drives


b. CD is outdated as soon as burnt
c. Considerable logistical / admin burden for all to produce, dispatch and follow up CD distribution

Therefore, as from now:

1. We will no longer be sending / mailing CD’s to all vessels


2. We will change the name of this tool from ‘Marlow Vessel CD’ to ‘Marlow Vessel Portal’
3. A live version of the site with up to date documentation and information is available via the Crew Portal:
https://rest2.marlow.com.cy:1240/marlowseafarerlogin/!marlowseafarerlogin.seafarerLogin

For further guidance regarding how to register for the Crew Portal, please kindly refer to Annex 1. To access the
Crew Portal an active Internet connection is required

4. If you require an ‘offline’ version, the installation file can be downloaded via:
https://mnmedia.marlow-navigation.com/VesselCD/VesselCD.zip
This file will be generated every month in order to include any updates applied on the site in the
previous week. Please note that this file is over 500MB in size. Therefore, it should not be downloaded
using satellite / mobile connection where excessive charges apply

5. Important updates will continue to be sent on board via email (such as, new circulars, forms etc.)
6. A full review and update of all content will still be performed on an annual basis
7. Finally, a copy of the latest version of the site would still be available via CD or USB upon valid request.
Annex I

Marlow Crew Portal


Registration:
If you have never used the Crew Portal before then you will firstly need to create an account.
Please following these steps:

1. Check with your Agent that your correct private email address has been entered in our
database. If we don’t have your correct / activate email address you will not be able to
proceed

2. Go to the following web page:

Note: the site is best viewed in either Microsoft Edge of Google Chrome

3. Click on (+) New User: First time registration


Enter your Marlow ID and date of birth. Then press SUBMIT

Note: You can find your Marlow ID on your Seafarer Employment Agreement (top right)
4. You should see a message that your account been created.
Now check your private email account. You should have received the following email:

Note: If you did not receive the email please also check Spam and Deleted items folders in case
the email was automatically filed in these locations. If you still cannot find the email please
contact our Support Team (feedback.crewportal@marlowgroup.com)

5. Follow the instructions as stated in the email. Once logged in, you will be prompted to
create your own Personal password. This is the password you will use from now on to log
into the Portal so please make a note of it.
Normal Login (once your account has been created):
1. If you have previously registered and set your personal password, next time you login to the
Crew Portal you can click on the ‘LOGIN TO CREW PORTAL’ button

Then enter your Marlow ID and personal password in the pop-up window
Forgot Password or Password Expired
1. If you have forgotten your personal password, (or it has expired), you need to select the
Generate new Password: Forgot my password/My password is expired option via:

2. Check your private email account. You will receive an email with instructions for
creating a new personal password. Once you have created a personal password you can
login as normal using the following button:
