1. Introduction
As a new user of the iCafe, you may have questions that arise after the training that
you will have from the engineer attended the vessel. The intent of this manual is to
assist you with the operation of the iCafe and guide you to the right
solution/direction when it is needed.

2. ShipSat Login Instructions


When opening the Internet Explorer and typing any internet address
(www.google.com) the following ShipSat login page will appear.
(or manually type: 192.168.__.1/portal/cp.php)
You will enter your Username and Password and then click Login.

After clicking Login, the User will be logged in to the system


During the connection, a small window will show the remaining amount of current
user

User is ready to browse.


Do not close window that counting the traffic as this will terminate your
connection.

When finishing, if you want to leave the system, you MUST press disconnect so
you can log out.

-The Password for the WiFi is: shipsat123


3. Data Pins

a. Value of the Pin


First Pin purchased is of the value of 25USD. When reloading a pin has to
be multiple of 10USD

b. Validity of the Pin


Pin is valid for 90 days from the day loading the MBs

c. Reloading a Pin
Reloading can be done by the Captain using the Vessels Admin Login (ref to
Vessel Admin Manual)
When you would like to create new Internet Pin please send your order to
icafe@wlnet.com with the new user’s full name

d. Pins can’t be returned.

4. Bandwidth
Your vessel is equipped with a Fleet BroadBand or a Mini vSat. Bandwidth
available onboard is expected to allow 5 users to browse at the same time. If more
people attempt to use the system as the same time, then the system will not
function as it is indented and delays should be expected. Operations activities are
prioritized over the iCafe activities.
5. What is prohibited
The below sites are prohibited to visit:

a. Sex sites
b. Violence
c. Gabling
d. Streaming
e. Downloading music, videos
f. P2P
g. Torrents
h. Videoconference

6. Proper Usage of the system


System must be used as it was setup and instructed. If somebody bypass the system
and does an improper usage, it is on vessel’s liability.
7. Vessels Admin Instructions (Refilling)
a) Click on the ‘Vessel Admin Request’

b) You will be redirected to the Vessel Admin Dashboard where you need to
enter your Admin credentials provided to you.
c) You will be logged in to the Admin Dashboard.
Under the Dashboard you will find useful information for your iCafe system
such as:
-Internet Connection Status
-Network Status
-System Resources

d) Click on the ‘Top-up Requests’ button


e) Under the ‘Top-up Requests’ you will find
1. Accounts registered to your vessel
2. Current Amount
3. Amount you want to add to the account
4. History of the refills for the current month
To refill an account you need to select the desired amount and press on
‘Request refilling for selected users’

f) When you click on ‘Request refilling for selected users’ you will be
redirected to a new page.
-Previous Amount
-Added amount
-Current amount

-Under the Status, you will now see ‘Successful’. This means that the refill
request is now completed. (You will also receive an email notification)
g) Click on the ‘Log out’ button to exit from the Administration Dashboard.
h) Select ‘BSM Vessel Internet Policy’ to authenticate with your iCafe
accounts and access the internet.
