BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF CJ GEMADEPT LOGISTICS

1. The Formation And Development:
CJ Gemadept Logistics is the result of a successful strategic cooperation deal that creates
a perfect resonance in the logistics industry between CJ Logistics - a giant in this industry from
Korea and Gemadept - an enterprise that owns a network of port operators and leading logistics
in Vietnam at the beginning of October 2017. Through that deal, Gemadept transferred 50.9%
capital of Gemadept Logistics Holding to CJ Logistics, instead of other competitors such as Tae
Kwang Industry Group of Korea. Many people believe that CJ Logistics has gradually
"acquired" Gemadept. But Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy General Director of Logistics
affirmed: "The relationship between CJ Logistics and Gemadept is not acquisition as many
people say, which is cooperation for mutual development".
2. Overview:
With a system of over 750 operators, CJ Gemadept Logitics is providing services to 75
customers at 6 large distribution centers such as Song Than DC, An Thanh DC, Kinh Do
Inhouse, Phuoc Son DC, Tan Binh Warehouse, B' Mart Warehouse, PEPSI Can Tho. Besides,
