Unit4 People Planning also makes it possible to track
the progress of projects by comparing planned hours
against budgets and remaining hours - directly in
the planning view. In combination with Unit4 Time
Management, the accrued hours relating to individual
resources are readily available. A straightforward
overview of requests about available people resources
from project managers or other departments is available
for resource owners, with simple colour-coding showing
requested and confirmed allocations.

The solution supports both high- and low-level
change, from merger or acquisition requiring the rapid
connection and integration with existing systems, to
process change within the business. And because it is
so straightforward to use, new employees and project
managers can be using it confidently in less than an
hour with no training necessary.

Unit4 People Planning gives all staff access and
editing rights to their own personal calendar, which
has an overview of their scheduled tasks. They can,
for example, record holiday and absence requests,
or update or make changes to planned activities.
