1. PRONUNCIATION
Cách làm bài tập chọn từ có phần gạch chân được phát âm khác so với các từ còn lại
- Chọ n đọ c 3/4 từ có trong cá c đá p á n A, B, C, D. Tuy nhiên, khô ng cầ n đọ c lầ n lượ t từ đá p á n A đến D mà
nên chọ n đọ c nhữ ng từ mình chắ c nhấ t về cá ch phá t â m.
- Sau mỗ i từ đượ c phá t â m, cẩ n thậ n ghi xuố ng â m củ a phầ n gạ ch châ n trong mỗ i từ .
- Chọ n đá p á n có phầ n gạ ch đượ c phá t â m khá c so vớ i cá c từ cò n lạ i.
Ví dụ 1:

=> Ta thấy phần gạch chân của các đáp án A, B, D được phát âm là /æ/, đáp án C có phần gạch chân được
phát âm là /e/. Do đó, đáp án là C.
* Cách phát âm của đuôi -s
“-s” đượ c phá t â m là :
+ /s/: khi â m tậ n cù ng trướ c -s là /p/, k/, /f/, /θ/, /t/.
+ /ɪz/: khi trướ c -s là : ch, sh, ss, x, ge, ce, se.
+ /z/: khi â m tậ n cù ng trướ c -s là nguyên â m và cá c phụ â m cò n lạ i.
Ví dụ 2:

=> Phầ n đượ c gạ ch châ n ở câ u C đượ c phá t â m là /s/, còn lại được phát âm là /z/. Do đó, đáp án là C.
* Cách phát âm của đuôi -ed
“- ed” đượ c phá t â m là :
+ /t/: khi â m tậ n cù ng trướ c -ed là /s/, /tʃ/, /ʃ/, /k/, /p/, /f/.
+ /id/: khi trướ c -ed là /t/ và /d/.
+ /d/: khi â m tậ n cù ng trướ c -ed là nguyên â m và cá c phụ â m cò n lạ i.

=> Câu B “-ed” được phát âm là /t/, các đáp án còn lại “-ed” được phát âm là /d/. Do đó, đáp án là B.
