The government should make laws about people's nutrition and

food choice. Others argue that is their choice. Discuss both views
and give your opinion.
ANSWER:

There has been an ongoing argument over whether the government should control
a human’s meal by-laws. Some argue that every individual has the right to decide
what they want to eat and to know what is best for them. However, others believe
that governments should be permitted to enact rules governing what people eat in
order to manage their health. There are valid arguments on both views, which will
be discussed below.

On the one hand, citizens have their own lives and may decide what they truly
want for their bodies and health, allowing them to freely choose their favorite
foods. First, eating comfortable food symbolizes freedom for each individual and
gives them the impression that eating is a process for relaxing rather than pressure.
For instance, the people who can choose a nutrient such as chocolate or milk tea
for themselves are happier than others have to force it on the menu. Second,
making a decision about what they will eat allows a person to avoid the problems
that might arise when they consume something not suitable for their body. For
example, if few people are allergic to specific components in food, they will
protect their health from the allergy by deciding on their own food.

On the other hand, there are several reasons why the government’s responsibility
should regulate people’s diets. To begin with, this application has the potential to
provide a wide range of long-term advantages to human health and lifespan.
Therefore, these laws and regulations will encourage individuals to eat nutritious
and clean foods in order to avoid a number of fatal diseases relating to diabetes and
obesity. Furthermore, less spending on nutritious problems and disease treatments
can relieve pressure on the national budget and economy. As a result, it will save a
great deal of government’s money and energy that can be used to improve other
vital areas like education and finance

In conclusion, although individuals should have the freedom to pick their favorite
foods, I hold a strong belief that national officials must take proactive measures
such as enacting appropriate legislation to boost people towards a healthier
lifestyle.
