GUIDE QUESTIONS FOR AN INTERVIEW WITH SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEURS

(Module 3- Personal Entrepreneurial Characteristics)

TITLE: INFORMATIVE INTERVIEW WITH AN ENTREPRENEUR

DIRECTION:
The activities of this assignment are focused on you and your groupmates arranging and carrying out an interview of an entrepreneur in
your community. This entrepreneur could be engaged in a service or product-oriented type of business. Be sure to comply with the following
requirements.
1. Interview a local entrepreneur. The entrepreneur should not be a member of a family, a relative nor a friend. The entrepreneur’s
business should also fall in one of your field of specialization such as an owner of a Sari-sari store or carenderia (food), owner of
internet station (computer), tailor, owner of salon or beauty products’ dealer.
2. The following questions should be asked.
 Why did you become an entrepreneur?
 How would you describe your business?
 How did you come up with your business idea?
 How did you know it was the right idea?
 Did you write a formal business plan?
 How did you finance your business?
 What are the biggest challenges you faced starting up and how did you overcome them?
 How big is the business now?
 What are the biggest challenges you face now?
 What advice would you give to an entrepreneur starting out today?
 If you were to start a new business today, what would it be?
 What is the worst experience you’ve had as an entrepreneur?
 How did you react to this experience?
 What piece of advice should you give to the other entrepreneurs especially to the aspiring ones?

3. The interview should be presented in a report with the following formats

1. It should be encoded in a short bond paper with:
 1” margin top, bottom and right side/part of the paper
 1.25” margin left side of the paper
 Calibri font style with a 12-font size.
 Do not cut portions of answers to the given questions.
2. You also must present the video recording of the interview you have conducted. Just attach the link in this file.

3. Overall view of the report should consist of:
