1. What is the post about, or what’s happening in it?

• The first picture that I pick was my shared post about an issue. It was about a
food panda rider who was shot dead by a security guard in Iloilo. I shared the
post with a comment, generalizing the population of security guards as hard-
faced or “tikal mukha”. In that shared post, I also mentioned a specific store
(super 8) where I used to go. Implying that security guards there are hard-faced.
• The second post is about Atty Larry Gadon. It was a video clip that I shared
commenting my similar belief that he was cheated on the voting counts during
the election. The video also contain about a word “bobo”.
• The last post that I chose was a tagged post of my family relative where we
could be seen having so much fun at the bar.
2. Who was the target audience that you had in mind when you made the post?
• When I shared the post the audience that I had in mind are my friends and the
security guards.
• My friends are on my mind when I posted the second picture.
• Lastly, my friends and the friends of my relatives are the target audience.
3. Who is currently actually able to view this post, according to your privacy settings?
• Of all the post that I picked, only my friends can view them.
4. Assume that the employer is very strict about professional image. Would these posts
affect your chances of getting hired by that type of manager? Why or why not?
• The first picture is a harsh rant about security guards in general, I think that this
post might affect my chance of getting hired. If the hiring manager saw this, he
might think that if I saw something that I disagree with inside the company, I
might post it and put a negative image to the company.
• The second post is about politics. I don’t think that it may affect my application
in a job, because it’s not really connected on how I will do my job and my work
ethics. Plus, that shared post is not totally serious for me.
• Lastly, I think that the third post that I chose most likely affect my standing in
applying for a job and getting hired. Because the post might give my employer a
negative impression of me. It may appear as though I’m a reckless or
irresponsible person with the likes of getting a lot of fun.
5. Did you change your default privacy settings on your chosen social media site or app, or
take any other action, as a result of this activity? Why or why not?
• I did change my privacy settings. That’s because I think some of my post, even
the random ones and not serious posts might give a negative picture of me as a
person. Also, there are posts in the past that no longer reflect me and it will do
me good to keep them to myself so it won’t affect me in the future.
