1. What are the strengths and limitations of a SpEd teacher?

“I know how to used sigh or articulation, and basic sigh languange.

I have (wide) 16 years experience how to handle special education.
My limitations ass a SpEd teacher is I don’t know how to use braille that’s why I can’t
handle usually impaired student.”

2. What is the background to become a Special Education teacher?

Bachelor degree of Special Education or Bachelor degree in Elementary Education with

Special Education units
Requirements- licensed teacher must be handling special education students
Must have;
Training- attended Special Education Seminar and training

3. What are the challenges you encountered in teaching Special Education?

“My challenges that I encountered in teaching special education are more patience in
handling parents’ attitudes and everyday concern, pupils’ individual differences interms
of their background and attitudes.”

4. What is the fullfillment in your field?

“My greatest fullfillment in my field of teaching are when learners develop their abilities.
They develop their speech and communication through cued articulation and basic sigh
language, and improved their adaptive behavior in community.”
