1) Is the concept of the developing world a useful one?

Why or why
not?
Countries have been classified by the World Bank and the low and middle
income groups taken together are called as developing world. This concept
over the years is becoming less relevant because countries should be
specifically recognized and not be generalized between the division of
“developed” and “developing”. There is also criticism in using the terms
“developing world” because of the implications on a country being
“underdeveloped” compared to the “developed countries”, which is not
favorable to those countries. It also sometimes implies mobility that does not
acknowledge sometimes the countries problems in the decline or being static
of the process development which leads to being not addressed as the way
it should be because of the wrong classification and label.
