In 101 words or less, express the emotions you feel for both the main male characters, throughout the five
times they meet. List the times they meet 2, 3, 4, 1, 5, within your story.

For example:

My Story
by James Blahs

Blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah, blah blah
blah blah blah blah.

Meeting 2 - I felt... This episode made me feel..

Meeting 3 - This time I really feel... I expected... etc.

Blah blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Somewhere in your text these three words must appear: empathy (or empathize, empathetic, empathized),
regret (or regretted, regrettably, regrettable) and compassion (or compassionate).

Candidate Story

Mohammed -at the second meeting alistair was arrogant and a little bit racist toward aziz which made
Amine SALHI me despise alastair and feel sorry for aziz.
_at the third meeting things were different, aziz here was in a position of power, he is the
CEO and founder of the company in which alistair wanted a job,and as soon as he
remembered alistair and their meeting at the cash point he refused to employ him as a sort
of  pay back, and that made me satisfied because for me justice was done here.
-At the fourth meeting Alistair was in a very bad condition,in need of help and regretting
what he did with azziz, and it made me change my feelings towards him from hate to
empathy and the fact that Aziz forgave and helped him was heartwarming.
-the first meeting was when they were innocent children.
-the fifth meeting was when they were too old and at this time alistair was the one helping
azziz, this probably wouldn't happen if Aziz didn't give him the money to start his life
over.and that gave me hope ''if i help people i will find who will help me one day too ''.
*for me the moral of the video is: ''Be kind and compassionate to others because you have
no idea when and where you will meet them again''.

Yousra -Meeting 2: At a cash point; Alistair was such a cocky, racist person. He started humiliating
SADOU Aziz who was standing up there, without even knowing him and that made me very angry!
-Meeting 3: At a company; where Aziz is the founder, Alistair did a job interview. As soon
as Aziz saw him, he remembered the cash point accident and as i expected and to take
revange on him, he reffused to employ him. And that makes me feel great.
-Meeting 4: At the street; full of guilt and regret feelings, Alistair's condition turned
miserable, wich made Aziz empathize with him once he saw him. And that was such a noble
from aziz.
-Meeting 1: At a garden, both were child and they were playing together innocently until
Alistair's mother came and prevented him from playing with Aziz. That made me wonder;
how could a mom do that! To despise a little child. And how could she be a bad influencer to
her son and instill in him such attitudes! (Improved)
-Meeting 5: At an aging center; the role has been reversed. Alistair in the one helping this
time, the thing that wouldn't have happend if Aziz hadn't helped him. This part convinced
me that wathever you do good, you'll find good.
The meaning of the video is that hate, racism and prejudices aren't natural. They are
acquired over time, cause we all born pure and innocent without any of them. And even if
these bad qualities were imbued into someone, it takes only fraction of kindness and
compassion to erase all that and affect a stanger for a lifetime.
Be kind to someone, it will change their world and might even change yours.
(We can't heal the world today, but we can begin with a voice of compassion, a heart of
love and an act of kindness).

Maroua Marcus Markou made a lovely video to show us that we must accept thje difference
GHAMRI between us in which he summaried as follows :
The first meeting: This episode make me feel anxious and angry because the rasism hasn’t

Marcus Markou made a lovely video to show us that we must accept the difference
between us in which he summarized as follows :
The second meeting: This episode made me feel anxious and angry because racism hasn’t
ended until now. Especially against Arab persons. How long will these aggressive behaviors
exist? But I like the reaction of the person who takes money from the cashpoint when he
shows that he isn’t aggressive.
The third meeting: At first, I felt happy because the racist person fell into the man's hands
who he previously despised, but I didn’t like that the other person didn’t accept working
with him.
The fourth meeting: In this meeting, I was very sad, and I cried with him. Finally, the racist
person has known that humanity exists everywhere and that not all Arabs are terrorists.
Also, he would never judge anyone by his outward appearance.

Nesrine This story, starts at the second meeting with Alistair and Aziz…
TITI Meeting 2: I felt that Alistair was impatient insulting and racist sending Samir, who occupied
the cashpoint.
Meeting 3: Several years later, Alistair goes to an interview job in a company where Aziz is
the CEO. But Aziz was surprised because Alistair's face seemed very familiar to him. In the
end he remembered that he was the man from the distributor, something that Alistair had
completely forgotten.
In this situation I felt empathy with Aziz. I saw that Aziz did not have the confidence in
Alistair to hire him.
Meeting 4:
Few years later, Alistair is on the streets without money. He sees Aziz pass by, calls him by
name and asks him if he remembers him and that he once refused him at work.
Aziz had completely forgotten that he met Alistair. And then he does something incredible.
He goes to find a cashpoint, withdraw money and gives it to Alistair. And that's when Alistair
regrets what he did in the past, his tears flow, and the Heine leaves him.
I felt pain for Alistair situation, what moved me the most was the generosity of Aziz, his
compassion, his big heart and his encouragement for Alistair.
The words of Aziz when he said “make today the first day everything falls into place for
you!” have really marked me.
Meeting 1:
the mother of Alistair pushed him away from his friend Aziz. I regret that the two children
could not play together because one of them knows how to be rejected by his parents.
Meeting 5:
This is the most incredible part of the story. It is with the word ''do i know you?!'' that the
expression on the face of one says everything to the other.
I felt sorrow for Aziz and joy for Alistair as he recognized his wrongs and changed for the
better.
Moral of the movie
It is with a human story that human emotions come. This short film moved me from
beginning to end. It reflected what we really see in our society and in our daily lives.
Aziz faces racism and discrimination and always shows love and compassion no matter how

4
difficult life gets.
Any person can change the story of his life and become better, the time passes the people
change but the true values remain and always teach us to move towards the good, to always
be positive, to be kind to humanity no matter what race of people we meet and to release
anger from ourselves.

At the third time:

Aziz remenberes alistair at the cashpoint. seeing Aziz Alistair worried that he won't be

Alistair started to cry, I sympathize with him.
The first time:
Unfortunately, this character of Alistair returns to the education of his parent and the type
of life which he had during his childhood, when I saw the first meeting, I felt a
disappointment at the example that mother can give to her child.
The fifth time
both were old Alistaire learned to be modest with everyone, I saw the compassion of
Alistaire who comes to serve Samir and help him as he did with him before.

Remarks:
- Thank you for your efforts. Really you did great, all of you.
- The beginning of the sentences and the person’s names must be always capitalized.
- Please do your best the next time to follow the recommendations I gave you. Perhaps it is not possible
to write down the five meetings in less than 101 words but at least try to introduce the three

7
recommended words, as done by some of you.
