Syed Saddiq bin Syed Abdul Rahman was born on 6th December
1992. He is a Malaysian politician who has served as the
Member of Parliament for Muar since May 2018.He is a
founding member of the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance
(MUDA) and has served as 1st President of MUDA since the
founding in September 2020. He was also a founding member
of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU), a former
component party of the PH coalition and served as 1st Youth
Chief of BERSATU from the founding in September 2016 to his
removal from the party in May 2020. He is the youngest
cabinet Minister to be appointed at the age of 25 as well as
the third youngest MP after also 2018-elected P. Prabakaran
and 1976-elected Najib Razak since Independence in the
history of Malaysia

Syed Saddiq has made many contributions towards us

Malaysians. One of his famous contributions that shook the
whole nation is when he shaved his head to fulfilled his vow
after meeting a campaign contribution target of RM200,000 to
buy laptops for students in his parliamentary constituency. The
campaign was a massive success as they managed to raise
RM383,000 in five days. Next, he also donated RM50 000 to the
underprivileged which is funded from Student Allowance &
Teaching Zoom Classes. Recently, there was a catastrophic event
of flash flood that occured at certain places in Malaysia.Syed
Saddiq, quick on his act, as the president of MUDA, successfully
collected RM1 million for flood victims in less than 100 hours.
The Flood Victims Assistance fund was launched on Dec 18 to
help more than 10,000 families affected by the natural disaster.
He said the donation will be used to help expedite flood rescue
missions, buying of necessities, food, personal hygiene items as
well as to manage post-flood clean-up missions.
