The Loom of Wonders

Thought to have originated on Cadia, possibly having been seeded by powers inside the Eye
of Terror itself, and now known to be active across the Segmentum, this esoteric Chaos cult
terms it’s members Weavers, and claims to be manipulating the weft, warp, and woof, of
creation itself. 

What this means in real terms seems to be the planning and execution of particularly
complex and far reaching schemes, often with individual Weavers carrying out missions ranging
from the seemingly insignificant (e.g. tripping a certain person at a certain moment) to the
obviously very important (e.g. assassinating a planetary governor), usually with absolutely no
knowledge of the larger ‘wonder’ that is being created.

Inquisition speculation is that the inner circle of the cult, the Eight Master Weavers, have seeric
powers that they use to formulate intricate strings of events that begin small but create
enormous ripples of devastation. Worryingly seventeen active members of the cult have been
captured inside the borders of Calixis Sector in the last four years, and though interrogation has
revealed little, there are strong indications the Weavers of the Loom are working towards
creating some new arcane ‘wonder’ in the region…

It is thought the Weavers are a Tzeentchian cult, but it is possibly they venerate one or more of
the lesser Ruinous Powers. The cult has been known on rare occasions to utilise the powers of
a lethal daemonhost thought to be named Diocannis.
