The Wakeners (‘Society of the Arisen Servant’)

Led by the rogue psyker Jakyl Ridian, this cult built up a small army of ‘freed’ servitors (or
‘Revenants’) on … which were made to break their programming by Ridian and his followers
using psychic and mechanical means. 

Initially highly successful their servitors acted as spies in the homes and palaces of the mighty,
and then on a prearranged night began killing their masters. The plan was partially defeated by
Inquisitor … and Ridian was killed, however several of his lieutenants (also psykers) escaped,
and possibly perpetuate the cult elsewhere – in one case claiming the unbound spirit of Ridian
was inhabiting the form of a combat-servitor revenant…
