Siemens Plant Simulation 14

NOTE: If you are outside the University, you have to make a VPN
connection (institute access) to get a license from the server !! (not for
downloading the package)

Once you’ve downloaded the Plant Simulation 14 installation file, and saved it to some folder (for example:
the desktop) you just need to double click it to start the installation.

The following window appears:

Click on “Next >”

You can then select where you want to install the program (it is strongly advised to keep it default). And
press “Next >”

Click on “Install” to start the installation process.

Now click on “Finish”

To activate the license open Plant Simulation 14 and click in the top left corner on “File” now you will get a
dropdown menu, go to “Preferences” which should be located near the bottom and click on it.

This screen will pop-up, and click on the tab “License”.

The license type should be Educational
