Public speakers utilize multiple techniques, though the best speakers change their voice to control the crowd. Two ways
that they can implement these tactics is through pausing and fluctuating their tone. When speakers change their voice to a
lower tone, they create a sense of anticipation and suspense, leaving the audience wanting to hear more of what you have
to say. This helps to keep the people engaged and grasping for more. The second aspect of public speaking that many
successful speakers use is the rate in which they speak. Just like when speakers change their tone, speaking at a slower
pace, also cause of anticipation, but it also gives you the audience's undivided attention. Lowering your voice and slowing
down will enhance your public speaking and aid you to become the best speaker you can be.
