1. Cite a communicative situation where all of the 9 principles of effective
communication are present.

Nick Vujicic is a well known speaker with a disabilities of no limbs and no


arms but gives inspirational and motivational speech to people with a normal
life. In his event tour, he was doing a great job in making the people to think
about themselves. He clearly gave a wonderful speech that could make
everyone relate on it. He would leave an impact to people and captivate them
in every word and lines he would throw to them. He even make himself as an
example to make them realize, if he can do those things with physical
differences so them can also do the same because for him “God has a plan
for our life”. Even though he speak frankly, he still shows consideration to the
view of people and he equally differentiate whether they are poor or rich that
they could reach what they are desiring for if they would lead themselves to
God’s presence and think positively in this world with full of negativity. Even
though he has no limbs, he walk around the table as he explain and give his
speech. He don’t mind how he looks because for him, it is the plan that God
puts him to that situation to inspire people and lift up them from being
drowned by their insecurities and own selves. He exactly deliver his speech
clearly and correctly in a well-timed event. And he effectively communicate
with the thousand people who are listening to him.

C. The Principles of Ethical Communication


Instructions:
1. Cite a communicative situation where the first principle of ethical
communication is applied.

In Ted Talks wherein a speakers are asked to gave their life and business
experiences, John Hardy was chosen as the speaker to gave the reason why
he built the Green School that are almost made of bamboo. He truthfully
advocate that by establishing the first big Bamboo school in the world he
would inspire people to do the same as him that would protect the earth, the
wild life and biodiversity. He is an advocate of protecting the environment by
teaching students what to do and gave them inspiration to do a sustainable
development in the environment. He exactly and honestly tell the people in
the event what the Green School have made and changed in the world and
the perspective of people who have inspired by their works. He gave his
students and also parents as an example in the event that could changed the
world and their living. Many big and known people was being inspired to do
what Hardy wanted them to believe and do the same. He definitely deliver it in
an ethical way of communication.
