My Observation

Directions: Read the following carefully before you accomplished different task stated in this portfolio.
1. Make a flashback of your previous school environment or download and/or view
available school perspectives, elementary or high school, rural or urban, local or
international.
2. Observe an online class (virtual/recorded) and note the different management
strategies used by the teacher. Follow classroom netiquette while observing various
classroom activities.
3. Observe etiquette and netiquette while downloading and/or conducting online
interview process.
4. Answer and accomplish all the checklist, worksheets, and questions that are attached
herein.

In my previous school, there are lots of classroom facilities that
served as a learning space that students and teachers can be
used to take place without outside distraction.

I have noticed that, conference room is


one of the facilities that are not

St. Vincent's Academy is my previous


school and is located beside the town's
Church of Candelaria Zambales for the
reason that SVA is a catholic school and
St. Vincent Ferrer is their Patron.

Answer the following questions:

When do you consider a facility useful or not?

When it aid learning to everyone. It is


useful, when it helps the students to
learn and to gather important knowledge
about education.

When do you say that a facility aids learning? Cite some instances.

It can have impact on creating successful


learning outcome to students.

What is the impact of environment to the learners?

The learning environment has a significant impact on


students' learning outcomes. The open space and noise in
schools, as well as the incorrect temperature, insufficient
light, overcrowded classes, misplaced boards, and an
inappropriate classroom arrangement, are all potential
confounding variables distracting kids in class.

What kind of classroom management is conducive to learning?

Creating a learning-friendly classroom


environment requires arranging the
physical space, enlisting student
cooperation, establishing a collaborative
atmosphere, and lastly, maintaining a
healthy classroom climate and culture.

My Reflection

1. Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed/remembered? Why? Why
not?

Yes. Because I know that, teaching in a


Catholic school will strengthened my faith
and improved my capacity to fulfill our
diocesan purpose of being the heart,
voice, and hands of Christ. Catholic
schools not only give a high-quality
education, but they also promote a sense
of community and faith.

2. If you are the teacher, how can you make the environment conducive to learning?
By creating a learning-friendly classroom
environment.

3. How do classroom management impact learning?

A good classroom management system


will help teachers avoid burnout by
reducing the need for yelling, scolding,
and other stressful disciplining methods
that generate teacher-student conflict.
This type of setting promotes both
academic and social/emotional growth.
