NOTICE
CONDUCT OF CLASSES OF EVEN SEMESTER (JAN-JUNE 2022) ACADEMIC
SESSION 2021-2022 IN PHYSICAL MODE (ON CAMPUS) FOR THE STUDENTS OF
AMITY UNIVERSITY UTTAR PRADESH

Dear Students,

Greetings from Amity University Uttar Pradesh!

Hope you and your family members are keeping in good health.

1. Reference previous emails and guidelines shared with you as well as with your parents regarding Campus
Opening and Odd Semester Examinations during Academic Session 2021-22.

2. The classes of Odd Semester Academic Session 2021-2022 were conducted in the Hybrid Mode, whereas
lab based classes for all technical programmes were conducted in Physical Mode (On Campus) .

3. Further, the End Semester Examination of Odd Semester (3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th Semester) are in progress and
are being conducted in Physical Mode (On Campus) . The senior students (3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th Semester)
who weren’t able to appear in End Semester Examination of Odd Semester, they have been given a chance
to give their End Semester Examination in I-Category. Their I-Category Examination will be conducted at
a later stage in Physical Mode (On Campus) , for which examination schedule will be communicated
separately.

4. The classes of 1st Semester Students (2021 admitted) of Academic Session 2021-2022 are in progress and
their End Semester Examination will be conducted in Physical Mode (On Campus) from 10-27 January
2022 as per Block Academic Calendar.

5. The Even Semester of Academic Session 2021-2022 will be conducted in Physical Mode (On Campus) for
all programmes/batches for all students as per the following schedule:

I. Commencement of Senior Batch (4th Semester onwards) : 03rd January 2022

II. Commencement of First Year (2nd Semester classes) : 31st January 2022

6. Amity Hostel accommodation will be provided to Outstation Students only, for which they are required to
apply on Amizone for Amity Hostel Accommodation. Allotment will be done on first come first basis by
following the Hostel Allotment rules. Students who will be allotted Amity Hostel will inform the University
about their date of joining the hostel at least one week prior to their joining and follow the prescribed
guidelines.

7. Outstation students who would not be staying in the Amity Hostels, are required to make necessary
arrangement for their accommodation and transport while taking care of their safety and wellbeing.

8. Students who are above 18 Years of age as of date are advised to take Covid-19 Vaccination (both doses),
if not taken yet. Those who have taken 1st Dose of Vaccination and their 2nd Dose is due, they are advised
 to take it immediately for their and others safety and wellbeing and upload the COVID-19 Vaccination
Certificate on Amizone immediately.

9. The Students who are less than 18 Years of age as of date will be required to upload scanned copy of a
‘Declaration and Undertaking’ made on Rs.10/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper, duly Notarized by Local
Notary and duly signed by both the parents/ legal guardian on Amizone prior to one week of their
joining the University Campus for attending classes in Physical Mode (On Campus) , so that their Head
of the Institutions (HoIs) may approve the same on Amizone prior to their joining the classes in the University
campus.

10. All students must adhere to the COVID-19 protocol and Guidelines including Wearing of Masks,
Maintaining Social Distancing, Frequent Hand Washing with Soaps, and use of Alcohol-based Hand
Sanitizers, etc. Students must keep few extra masks and hand sanitizer with them for their personal use.

11. All necessary Guidelines issued by Amity University Uttar Pradesh, University Grants Commission and
Government of Uttar Pradesh have already been shared with all the students and their parents
previously and the same can be accessed on Amizone (Student Document -> Important Information).
Further, any future directives and guidelines issued from time to time by the District Administration/
Government of Uttar Pradesh/ UGC/ Government of India and any other Statutory Body will have to be
adhered to. The same will be communicated to you through Amizone Notice Board.
