Introduction
Zenitel is pleased to announce the release of ICX-AlphaCom Core version 1.1.3.0. Accompanying
this release is also a new version of AlphaPro, 12.1.3.0.

New features and improvements

For details on all changes in this and previous releases, please visit the ‘Release Notes’ section on
the Zenitel Wiki pages which can be accessed via https://wiki.zenitel.com/wiki/Main_Page.
The highlights are:
- ICX-AlphaCom support for port-based Network Access Control – IEEE 802.1X
- IPHA synchronization via port 443 – this allows for port 80 to be closed, also when a pair of
ICX-AlphaCom servers are in IPHA mode
- Port 443 is available for AlphaPro communication – this allows for port 80 to remain closed,
as AlphaPro can also use port 443 to communicate with ICX-AlphaCom
- Ports 61112 and 61113 now support multiple connections – the maximum total number of
OPC servers that can be connected is 30, while the maximum number of API connections
is 120; this is a total also when the ports are used spread over different ICX-AlphaCom
servers in an AlphaNet configuration
Note that all servers must be upgraded to the same software version
- When 2 recorders are configured, recording will be done on both recorders in parallel

Availability
ICX software 1.1.3.0 is now available on Zenitel Wiki. On the home page, select ‘Software
Download’ to navigate to the software download page. As software updates may be made
available at any moment, it is always advisable to check for the latest available version on a
regular basis.
To be able to download software it is required to log in with a username and password. These can
be obtained by sending a mail to alphasupport@zenitel.com. Please make sure that we can
identify from the mail who you are.
