INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Form a group of 5.
2. Select ONE country in Asia
3. Explain the implementation of the selected country’s economic policy
a) Fiscal policy
b) Monetary policy
4. Analyse the country’s macroeconomic problems
a) Inflation
b) Unemployment
5. Discuss how the country’s authority overcomes those problems using their economic
policy.
6. Use the notes on chapter 6 to support the writing of the report.
7. Submission of the report is in 5th meeting.

FORMAT OF THE REPORT:

1. Cover page. – 1 page

The cover of the report must consist of:
i. Name of the selected country.
ii. Name of the group members and students’ ID.
iii. Date of the submission.
2. The introduction – ½ to 1 page
Brief introduction of the country’s economic background.
3. Economic policy of the country – 1½ to 2 pages
4. Macroeconomic problems of the country – 2 – 3 pages + the data and graphs
5. The solution to the problems implemented by the authority of the country – 1½ to 2
pages
6. Conclusion – ½ to 1 page.
7. References – 1 page
