We are also grateful to the members of our team who have given their full effort and excellent
cooperation from the beginning of this group assignment. We are also very grateful to our
family members and close friends who continue to give us a lot of support and courage not to
give up in completing this written report. we are also grateful to have friends who are always
by our side and take the time to provide some advice and tips that can help us in completing
this task. In addition, we would also like to thank all the university students who have
completed this written report together by taking their time and give their honest perception
towards the “Anxiety and fear during pandemic Covid-19. Implications on the psychological
well-being and life satisfaction of University students.” questionnaires.
Other than that, we would also like to thank Mrs. Noorazilah for all the guidance and support
given in completing this written report and also all the knowledge that has been poured into
us in teaching this subject throughout this 3rd semester. Although it is undeniable that it is
quite difficult for us to complete this assignment due to a lot of assignment for other subjects,
but we tried to complete this written report as soon as we can and thankfully we managed to
complete it on time. We hope that we can learn from our mistakes and also excel in our
studies in the future.

METHODOLOGY
Sampling technique as the sample is selected from all students that answer the survey.
They are 57 respondents of students who still study in university are selected.
iv. Data Collection Method
We used questionnaire (online survey) which is in Google Form as our methods of data
collection to obtain all data. The reasons we used this method is because it reduces our
cost, low manpower and also east to obtain information.

INTRODUCTION
1.1 BACKGROUND OF STUDY
After World Health Organization (WHO) made declaration of a global pandemic, the outbreak
of coronavirus (COVID-19) has been influencing the living of people across the world. Many
countries including Malaysia has make implementation of a lockdown as a strategy to avoid
the contagious disease from spreading.
Following this, the experience of home quarantine under lockdown has affected academic
and professional career. In addition, it is also give impact on the mental health of students
such as anxiety and fear.

The bar chart shows the student’s anxiety level towards coronavirus infection. 8 out of 57
(14%) students stated that they always felt threatened whenever they thought about it. Most
of the students, which are 21 persons (36.8%), were sometimes felt insecure with the
infection from the virus. Other than that, 20 students (35.1%) agreed their paranoid levels are
ordinary. Meanwhile, 3 students (5.3%) felt bothered about it while the other 5 students
(8.8%) rarely bothered with the virus.

Most of the students, which is 22 people (38.6%) sometimes avoid gatherings. The other 20
people always avoid social gatherings. Next, 14 out of 57 persons (24.6%) usually avoid
social gatherings and 1 person (1.8%) admitted that she/ he rarely avoids social gathering.

voters, comprising 30 people (52.6%), voted for the level of fear of the pandemic was high.
Meanwhile, 17 students (29.8%) agreed that their level of fear was at often level. Next, 7
students (12.3%) voted for their fear level which is normal and the other 3 students (5.3%)
voted they rarely felt fear because of the pandemic.

Comment:
The bar chart representing the student’s satisfaction of their life during pandemic of Covid-19.
Among the respondents, only a person who strongly disagree about his/her life satisfaction
and none of the respondents who disagree with their life satisfaction. Next, out of 57 of
respondents, there is only 11 students (19.3%) who slightly disagree with their life and 16
students (28.1%) who is slightly agree with their life satisfaction. Followed by 17 students
which have the highest data who are agree with their life and comes with 12 students who
are very satisfied with their life, which is strongly agree.

The multiple bar chart representing the student’s psychological well-being during Covid-19.
Among the problem faced, the number of respondents responds to the “not being able to
face up their problems is only 2 people strongly disagree, 4 people disagree, 10 people
slightly disagree, comes with the highest number of responses with 21 people who slightly
agree with not be able to face up their problems. Next, only 9 people agree and 11 people
strongly agree that they did not able to face up their problems. For the second problem is
they had been thinking themselves as worthless person. Table shows that only 3 people
