Schemes of Admission
Be a part of the research team at SLIET Longowal in your field of interest for a Doctorate Degree under
following schemes.
1. Fulltime Research Scholar:
➢ The fellowship is granted to Ph.D. scholars as per guidelines laid down by the MHRD
(F. No. 12-2/2019-U1 dated 31.01.2019 and F. No. 10-2/2019-TS.VII dated:
15.04.2019).
➢ Candidates sponsored by recognized R&D organization & academic institutions, and the
self financed ones, relieved on study leave for at least three years.
2. Part-time Research Scholar:
➢ The regular employees of an Academic Institution/ R & D Organization/ Industry,
recognized by the Institute, having more than two years of professional experience. The
candidates have to submit the “No Objection Certificate” from their parent organization.
➢ Project Staff working on various Projects undertaken by the Institute, provided the
duration of the Project at the time of admission is around 3 years.

increased or decreased as per recommendations of the Interview Panel/ DRC of respective departments.
The Director, SLIET reserves the rights not to fill the seats if suitable candidates are not found.
