About NPTI:

Power, Govt. of India is a National Apex Body for Training & Human Resources Development in Power
Sector with its Corporate Office at Faridabad (Haryana). NPTI is operating on all India basis through its
regionally located institutes at Alappuzha (Kerala), Badarpur (New Delhi), Bengaluru (Karnataka),
Durgapur (West Bengal), Guwahati (Assam), Nagpur (Maharashtra), Nangal (Punjab), Neyveli

NPTI, Alappuzha:
NPTI, Alappuzha, Kerala campus is spread over a picturesque landscape with green lawns of about 15
acres and well equipped with state of the art infrastructural facilities for conducting different courses on
technical as well as management subjects covering the needs of professionals/trainees/students
associated with Thermal and Hydro Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Smart Grid, E-Mobility,
Transmission & Distribution Systems, and other energy related fields of the Indian power and allied
energy sectors. NPTI, Alappuzha has 5 in 1 Multi Simulator which consists of three Thermal simulators
(210 MW, 500 MW & 800 MW), Hydro Simulator, Smart Grid Simulator and Renewable Energy Simulator.

About the Course:


The objective of the programme is to develop the fundamentals of Power Generation, Transmission and
Distribution. Every intern will be supported by experienced mentors. Best opportunity for budding
engineers!

Class Schedule:
From Monday to Friday, every week:
First Half: From 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
Second Half: From 02:30 pm to 04:30 pm

B.E./B. Tech./Diploma or equivalent in any branch of engineering (Pursuing/Completed).
