EXPERIENCE
Focused primarily on training Teams to write good User Stories, prioritize work based on

Removed impediments as all the projects relied on data from multiple departments, hence

Assisted the PO in preparing and refining the backlog for PI and Iteration Planning.
Scheduled, coordinated, and successfully concluded several backlog grooming and
refining sessions in the middle of ongoing sprints to help the product owner to be more
prepared prior to upcoming sprints.
Increased development team participation in daily scrums from 75% to 100% within my
first month with the company.
Boosted development team morale through education and aggressive pre-emptive
impediment removals, which had a positive impact on velocity.
Scheduled and held weekly meetings with senior management during my first month, to
train them on scrum principles, and this stopped requests by the Vice President to remove
or to reassign development team members.
Used metrics such as velocity, burn down and burn up charts as well as qualitative
metrics such as team self-assessments, to keep tabs on the progress of sprints to ensure a
positive and predictable sprint outcome after each iteration.
