Activity: THE ART OF SELLING YOUR SELF/TELL ME ABOUT YOUR SELF?

ACTIVITY SHEET 2A
A.
1. TELL ME ABOUT YOUR SELF?

My name is Maricris Bautista 19, I currently studying at Pangasinan State

Universities Campus as Scholar and First Year Collage taking up Bachelor of Science in
Social Work (BSSW). I’m the youngest of seven siblings Five girls and two boys.
Actually I don’t really know myself but I try my best to described. I’m jolly and happy
go lucky person. Sometimes I judge the persons by their appearance and attitudes that
they introduce to me, because that my perspective to them and that’s makes me caught
off guard, but time past by and maturity strike you the appearance wasn’t enough to
judge other people. When it comes to conflict, I challenge myself, I accept every flows
that I can’t do. I made many flows in past but that’s my courage to face the future. My
attitudes are unpredictable bipolar I can’t stick on decisions, but I try my best to control
my negative attitudes. I calmed myself before make a decision I find an alternative way
to solve the problem. And I ask myself what are the consequences if I choose this path.
And that’s my process to make my life meaningfully.

2. WHAT DO YOU SEE AS YOUR GREATEST STRENGTH AND GRETEST

WEAKNESS?

Yes, like in the family I love them even I not verbally speaking. I worried every
conflict that can’t solved quickly. The misunderstanding of each in everyone makes me
loss of focus and I can’t barely talk and my health was also my problem. Because of lack
of sleep, thinking how to solve the problems that’s strike to my brain every time I’m
alone. But that’s enough can you please care to yourself? the burden the stress that you
suffered and you solved it alone, that’s enough give yourself a little break. My younger
version is like little kitten afraid to scold her, but this days? I’m very happy because I
know that I’m not the only one who suffered, and I wish and pray every day that
whoever felt left alone, don’t give up and make the right path decision to you.

3. TELL ME ABOUT THE PROJECTS YOU HAVE LED?

Yes, when I was in High School our teachers want us to perform a role play or
“dula dulaan “. The book of NOLE METANGHERE, and it’s difficult on how we
manage the time in academic and the practicing of role play. As the leader of that group
I have a responsibility to finish the task and don’t left behind the members that’s the
unethical role as leaders. I talked by members if they want to finish the role play, I talk
to them and managed the suggestion of each member. The day of our performance our
teachers surprise they taught that we can’t because we are the lowest section. But I
quest they wrong and I proved it, we proved it! that we do it! I very thankful to my
members because they are so cooperating and dedicated to our goal.
4. TELL ME ABOUT THE PROBLEMS YOU HAVE SOLVED IN A GROUP
SITUATION?
Mislead of the former leader and misunderstanding to each member’s. Back in
Senior High School I am the leader who feel free to suggest and feel to listened of their
disapproval and I accept that. When I see that their suggestion was not good enough I
explain to them one by one to avoid any argument. I give them the spot to speaking,
what they want to explain. I’m not that kind of leader who “nag marurunog “. If you
want to finish the activity without conflict, always listened to your members, because
they have an incredible idea that you as a leader can’t imagine.

5. HOW WOULD YOU DEFIE SUCCESS?

Simple, when you feel comfortable and contented of what you achieved in life.
Happy even in the other point of view are not enough. Don’t mind them, they are not
you, that kinds of happiness you feel that’s the success.

6. WHY HAVEN’T YOU RECEIVED ANY OFFER SO FAR?

Actually I don’t know? When that’s the question strike to me. I felt nothing, I
just waiting my term, while I do my part to become successful steps by steps, work hard
“nawala kang tinapakang iba” “matagal pero sulit” “paspasan pero mabilis .

7.HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT MAKING IMPORTANT DECISIONS?

I consult myself triple times not triple times, hundred times. Checking the
possible result. Consult my oldest sister about my decision, if I can’t choose specific, I
ran to my parents ask them if my action was right or bad. After that I make a
brainstorming the suggestion that I collect, by the way if the problem was very easy and
I think I can solve without their suggestion, I probably do the action

8. DO YOU WORK UNDER PRESSURE?

Yes, sometimes. But I learn that when you work under pressure you can’t finish
the activity. Because the concentration of your brain was in negative taught,”
“natataranta”, you don’t know what are you doing, and I experience that my veins in
brain are getting hurt especially when I felt the “dum dum “its hurt. Don’t pressure
yourself validate your and then do the activity as much your brain is well functioning.

9. WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?

What I do to my spare time? I do my usually routine, cleaning the house, feeding

my pet, after that I check the plants one by one if you don’t want to scold. Scanning the
activities and cook some food to my sister and brothers. Every Sunday my father off of
his work to bound with us, and I really cherish every time when I with him.
10.HOW DO YOU HANDLE CONFLICT?
I’m not usually burden myself of that kind of problem. I avoid myself
and my brain to think negative taught. Usually when I handle my conflict like natural
