5. Amaya’s box of colour pencils has 24 different colour shades. She was putting back all the
colour pencils in the box after completing her drawing. 3 colour pencils were missing. How

6. Ashi has a pack that contains 210 sheets. She used some sheets for a project. There are 124
sheets left in the pack now. How many sheets has she used?
7. In a paper factory, workers have to pack papers in cartons. The factory got an order of 400
cartons. They have yet to pack 195 cartons to complete the order. Find out how many
cartons they have already packed?

8. There is a huge car parking area allotted near PVR mega mall. It has a capacity of 580 cars.
The guard of that parking found that there is still enough space for about 285 more cars to

9. Advit and Divij were counting their Lego blocks. Advit said he has 30 blocks and Divij said he
has 15 blocks more than Advit. Can you tell how many blocks Divij has?
10. Raghu and Parul stay in Jaipur and celebrate ‘Makar Sakranti’ festival by flying kites. Parul
shared that she had bought 48 kites and Raghu said he had bought 17 kites more than Parul.

builder. He produced 315 packets of marbles on the first day. On second day he produced 89

17. Pranav got two boxes of color pencils on her birthday. The first box had 24 color pencils
which is 12 more than the number of color pencils in the second box. How many color pencils
are there in the second box?

18. Shyam is a cobbler and Rakesh is a tailor. On Monday, Rakesh earned 255 rupees which is 63
rupees more than what Shyam earned. Can you tell who earned more money- Rakesh or
Shyam? How much money did Shyam earn on Monday?
19. Vani’s grandfather used to collect coins of different countries. He decided to gift them to
his 2 grand-daughters Vani and Poorna. Vani got 367 coins, which was 29 coins more than

75. Kartik and Ajmal are two kite-makers. On Independence Day Kartik had 172 kites in his shop
and by evening 155 kites were sold. Ajmal had 183 kites and on the same day 168 kites were

76. There is a Metro train route from Indraprastha to Dwarka. When the train started from
Indraprastha, there were 467 passengers in the train. 152 got down at C.P. station and 89

second day he again requested the fruit seller to pack 5 baskets of 9 apples each. Do you think
