Immigration is the movement of people from one country to another to live temporarily or

permanently. The United States receive thousands or even millions of immigrants every year from

around the world. Immigrants have many different motivations as a chance for a better way of living,

escaping from civil wars or weak economic situations. Many of these people believe that the United

States is the best place to go without paying attention for the negative impacts, anyway, they will still be

staring on what they are missing in their homeland like freedom, protection, better living standards. In

that research I’m proving How far the immigration has positive impact on the United States. As it brings

several benefits to the United States like Positive Economic growth, medical, technological, engineering

reputation, and cultural diversity benefits.

First, immigration has positive affect on the American economics. Immigration increase the level of

labor with bringing new experiences and skills. More people means more work force and then more

production and more supplies. Many immigrants work in low-payed jobs that most of Americans are not

willing to work and this provides a good and cheap labor force for many businesses. Not only the small

businesses even the big companies like Tesla, Uber, and PayPal had built by immigrants. Most of these

big established companies not just added money to the economy it also came offering many jobs

opportunities for the citizens and that increased the work chances. The research found in the “Forbes”

newspaper stated that “among the billion-dollar startup companies, immigrant founders have created

an average of approximately 760 jobs per company in the U.S. The collective value of the 44 immigrant-

founded companies is $168 billion”. So, immigrants are not taking native people’s jobs as others are

saying but they are offering more job opportunities and adding to the economics.
 Second, immigration influences the medical, technology and engineering fields. The U.S has gained the

reputation of the best-civilized country in the medical and technological and engineering fields as it has

the best doctors, engineers, and programmers in the world. These people are not only superior in their

fields they are also inventing modern technologies and new patents. Research made by the New

American Economy Research fund stated that “Foreign-born inventors played especially large roles in

cutting-edge fields like semiconductor device manufacturing (87%), information technology (84%), pulse

or digital communications (83%), pharmaceutical drugs or drug compounds (79%), and engineering

(78%).” These immigrants came to the U.S as international students then they proved themselves in the

studying field and then later in the working field. Most of these highly skilled hard workers are playing a

significant role in this good reputation and even making the country stronger. Also, types of jobs

for these smart and skilled people are high-payed jobs which brings more money back to the country

through taxes.

Third, diverse population provides different opportunities for the exchange of innovative ideas that

can help in innovation, abilities, creativity and change experiences.

Cultural diversity is making this country more interesting and attracting to the people from all over the

world. Wyclef Jean Said “America is a melting pot of immigrants. So actually, if you took all of the

immigrants outside of America, you'd be missing a lot of flavor, starting with the food, with the culture,

with the dance, with everything “

Visitors come to the United States interested to see many diversities of cultures in the same place. For

example, visitors from middle east who want to know more about the Chinese culture, food and

traditions, but at the same time, want to know about cultivations of the U.S and how it became one of

the most civilized countries in the world, they can do both by visiting the United States Only despite of
visiting each country by separately. They can visit the China Town in NY and know more about the

American Dream at the same time. Moreover, immigrants that live in this country will not feel solitude

as they will easily find people who are talking their language and even having the same traditions

ceremonies they can share it together.

To sum up, this paper is providing information about the positive impact of immigration on American

society and without it this country wouldn’t be as strong and interesting as it is now. Immigration is

adding to the country’s value and not diminishing it. It brought a lot of different benefits like economic

growth, Modern technological and scientific progress and the fun of the culture diversity.
