B.Sc. (Electrical / Mechanical / Bio Medical).
Experience
6 – 8 years of experience in healthcare sector organizations.
Responsibilities
Supervise, repair & maintain of Bio-medical Equipment.
Act as Manager of his assigned area & exercise effective Command, Control & Communication Skills
for efficient working of Biomedical Department.
Good Command on drafting, formulation & implementation of policies & procedures of Biomedical
Department. Planning & organizing Departmental Activities.
Documentation of repairs, maintenance, inspection and demand of parts of various groups of
Biomedical departments.
Exercise effective control on junior engineers for speedy / quality repairs & maintenance of
Biomedical equipment by ensure maximum uptime through efficient repairs & maintenance
techniques.
Conducting Daily rounds of various Departments for updating current status of Biomedical
equipment, its repair, maintenance & on site user / operational training.
Independent 3rd line repair & maintenance of Biomedical Equipment.
Supervise & assist junior Engineers in carrying out cleaning of Biomedical equipment when referred
to workshop or under repair & maintenance.
Assessment, planning, control and demand of spares required for speedy repairs and in-time
maintenance of Biomedical Equipment and to avoid its breakdown.
Formulate inspection, defect, incidence reports, demands of Biomedical equipment & accessories as
per policies & procedures of the department.
Preparation of PPM Plans, its execution & monitoring.
Advise all departments on technical issues related to repair, maintenance & safe handling /
operations of Biomedical equipment
Attend / arrange meetings related to Bio-medical equipment, quality and other issues as desired by
management.
Conduct inspection, technical training, installation & commissioning of newly inducted Biomedical
equipment.
Preparation of presentations, training lectures, inspection / defect / incidence reports, demands of
Biomedical equipment / accessories, its record, draft minutes of meetings & visit reports.
Monitors attendance record and check attendance and overtime activities.
Any other task assigned by HOD.
