H ARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE EXTRA SCENE

Starting from just before scene 97 in the script

INT. GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOM – NIGHT

Ron leads Harry through the Gryffindor common room talking

about Romilda and how lovely she is. Pretty dark as it at
night, no fire etc. No sound other than the creaking of
floorboards.

RON
Romilda is just so. Awesome. I can’t wait to meet her.

HARRY
(giggling)
I’m sure.

RON
What are you laughing for?

HARRY
It’s just –- don’t worry.

RON
Huh.

INT. CORRIDOR – NIGHT (MOMENTS LATER)

Ron and Harry are wandering through the corridors at night,

Ron is talking abbot how much he loves Romilda. The only
sounds are the wind and them walking.

RON
Harry, do you think she will like me?

HARRY
(suppressing his laugh)
I’m sure she will.

RON
(In awe)
She’s just so amazing.
 HARRY
C’mon Ron, let’s go find you new found crush.

INT. GRANDHALL – NIGHT

The large Grand hall is lit by candle light the “weather” is

raining with a pitter patter above. The hall is pretty much
empty other than for a few people. People are whispering.

HARRY
Hopefully Romilda is in here.

RON
(Affectionately)
Oh I hope so.

HERMIONE
Hello, and what brings you here tonight?

HARRY
(Suppressing a laugh)
Well, it’s a long story but remember Romilda?

HERMIONE
Yes.

HARRY
And remember her love potion?

HERMIONE
I think I see where this is going.

HARRY
Well Ron being greedy as he is, saw the spiked chocolates on
my bed and decided to eat them.

Harry bursts out laughing, Hermione suppresses her laugh. Ron

is oblivious to what’s happening.

HERMIONE
I see, let’s take him up to Slughorn and see if he knows how
to help Ron out.

HARRY
(Mockingly sad)
Aww, I wanted to take him to Romilda.

Hermione
(stern)
Harry, don’t be so stupid.
 INT. CORRIDOR – NIGHT

Walking through the cold corridors in Hogwarts, very dull

walls, not a sound to be heard other than the 3 walking

HERMIONE
Harry, I think it would be great fun to take Ron to Romilda
but I don’t think it would be smart this close to curfew, lets
take him to Slughorn.

HARRY
(disappointed)
Fine

THE END

Harry and Ron go to Slughorn and Slughorn treats Ron. (Scene

97)
