The results of Buddhist academic research must also be displayed on a platform so that they can
complement each other. With the promotion of Chinese Buddhism as the core, the Chinese
Buddhist Research Institute has established various publications. In addition to providing a
channel for Buddhist researchers to publish their papers and monographs, it also plans to publish
the works of the patriarchs and representative works of Chinese Buddhism in the form of special
topics or classics. In addition, it translates and introduces high-level Buddhist monographs,
borrowing the wisdom of Buddhist studies from all over the world.

The journal publications of our institute currently include two academic annuals, "Chinese
Buddhist Journal" and "Chinese Buddhist Studies" . If it dates back to the era of the Buddhist
Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Culture University, it also includes
"Chinese Buddhist Studies " published from 1968 to 1985 . Huagang Buddhist Journal .
In terms of book series, there are " Chinese Buddhist Studies Research Institute  ", " Chinese
Buddhist Studies", " Chinese Buddhist Books Series ", " Zen Books Series ", " Chinese Buddhist
Translation ", " New Asian Buddhist History Translation Series " And " Buddhist Conference
Proceedings " and so on. Our journals and various book departments are expected to promote
knowledge transfer, academic exchanges, and at the same time enhance the atmosphere and
quality of Buddhist research.
