SYNOPSIS

In view of differing interest and position, parties must look into the various aspects of pre-contract

considerations in anticipation of possible disputes prior to the execution of any Construction Contract. It starts

from choosing the right standard form of condition of contracts to the drafting of letter of award and the

various pertinent contractual aspects such as contract determination, payment, variations, liquidated

damages and retention sum.

Ir. Ang Kok Keng sits on the panel of Adjudicator in Asian International Arbitration Centre and Mediator in

Malaysian Mediation Centre.

He regularly acts as counsel in adjudication proceedings under CIPA Act 2012 and PAM Arbitration.

He is also the member of MIARB, MSADJ, MMC, SCL and TAE (Practising Associate).
