Notice to Student
Submission of Online Examination Form for Postponed June 2020 Examination
We all are aware that the pandemic created by COVID-19 is still continuing throughout the world
which is largely impacting global economy including education sector. The Institute had issued notice
on April 22, 2020 relating to postponement of June 2020 examinations till further notice with the
assurance that at least one month’s prior notice will be provided to the students once the date of
examination is fixed.
With a view to conduct postponed examinations of June 2020 earliest possible, maintaining safe
distance and applying other safety measures, the Institute has developed online examination forms
to facilitate students submit their examination forms online and pay online. This will help reducing the
time required for processing and formalizing examination forms and enable to conduct the
examinations at the soonest once the situation improves.
The examination form can be submitted either by logging into “Student Login” portal available in ICAN
website "www.ican.org.np" or by logging into "fbe.ican.org.np". The online examination forms for the
Chartered Accountancy CAP-I, CAP-II and CAP-III level Examination in pursuance with Rule 14 of the
Nepal Chartered Accountants Regulations, 2004 can be submitted online from July 29, 2020 ( Shrawan
14, 2077) until August 19, 2020 (Bhadra 3, 2077) with payment of normal fee and until August 23,
2020 (Bhadra 7, 2077) with payment of late fee.
In addition to centres in Kathmandu, the examination for CAP-I, CAP-II and CAP-III will also be held in
Biratnagar, Butwal, Pokhara and Birgunj, subject to a minimum of 10 applicants for CAP-I
examination, 20 applicants for CAP-II examination and 10 applicants for CAP-III examination in each
centre. Centre with less than the minimum number of applicants will be cancelled, and the applicants
of such center will be transferred to Kathmandu centre.
Due to the uncertainties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been decided that the students who
have submitted the application for June 2020 examination will be allowed to opt to sit in December
2020 with an application to this effect to the Institute before 21 days prior to the starting date of June
2020 examination.
