PATRICK JOHN M.

OLIVEROS UCSP
11 HUMSS-CANLAS QUARTER 2 ~ WEEK 5

WHAT I KNOW:

1. Lack of confidence and skills

2. Isolation and withdrawal from social life
3. Discrimination
4. Negative labelling
5. Restriction of activities and social roles

WHAT’S IN:

Social Inequality affects the equal learning that all students achieve in this time of pandemic. Because of
the lack of appropriate medium for some Filipino students, it's hard to maintain a focused and
understandable learning in addition to daily chores. This is usually observed in some of our economically
challenged students.

WHAT’S MORE:

Yes, I agree, because inequalities in income and wealth cause economic instability, a range of
health and social problems, and create a roadblock to the adoption of pro-environment strategies and
behaviour. Social and economic inequalities tear the social fabric, undermine social cohesion and
prevent nations, communities and individuals from flourishing.

WHAT I HAVE LERNED:

1. The first thing I would do is to start the equality in our home because I believe that everything
starts at where we belong.
2. Second is to use my voice and social media platform to teach everyone how important gender
equality is.
3. Lastly, by treating other people in equal treatment setting aside their religion, physical
appearance and etc.
