INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (IMS) POLICY

Dragon Oil (DO) is committed to maintaining an integrated management system (IMS) for carrying
out Oil and Gas Exploration and Production activities. The IMS will support Dragon Oil’s strive
towards excellence in oilfield operations, Quality, Environment, and Health & Safety (QHSE).
The management of DO shall provide necessary resources for the implementation and
maintenance of the integrated management system and to fulfil the commitments below.

Dragon Oil is committed to:

 Be socially responsible and conduct its business in an ethical, transparent and sustainable
manner;
 Meet the needs and expectations of all interested parties including customers, and
regulatory agencies;
 Comply with all applicable laws, regulations and other requirements related to the business
of DO;
 Take all reasonable measures at its disposal to protect the health and safety of its
personnel and preventing occupational injury and ill health;
 Ensure all levels of managers, staff and contractors accountable for QHSE within their
respective areas;
 Take all practical measures to protect the environment by preventing pollution and to
assure sustainability of energy use;
 Inculcating quality awareness, safety and environmentally responsible culture among all
employees and interested parties through participation, consultation and collaboration;
 Develop and implement a risk–based approach in conducting business operation;
 Develop a positive culture throughout the company through effective communications and
training;
 Ensure that all contractors demonstrate full compliance to this policy;
 Have a transparent, well documented, easily understood and accessible processes and
systems with defined criteria;
 Continual improvement of the IMS through the active participation of the employees,
contractors, communities and other interested parties;
In addition, DO shall establish good relations with local communities based on mutual respect and
dialogue. This will underpin the relationship with regulators, community personalities, local
authorities as well as other concerned parties on HSE, CSR and Security matters.
