Q1: What is the Bill of Rights?

- The Bill of Rights is the first 10 Amendments to the Constitution. It spells out Americans’ rights
in relation to their government. It guarantees civil rights and liberties to the individual—like
freedom of speech, press, and religion.

Q2: Why is the Bill of Rights important?

-Bill of rights is important to us because we have the freedom to move and to do whatever we want and
what we like.

Q3: What is the purpose of the bill of rights?

-The purpose of bill of rights is to put a limitation on the people around us, We should have freedom and
not slave.

Q4: What are the three powers of the government?

-Police Power

-Eminent Domain

-Taxation

Q5: What is the Police Power of the State?

-The inherent power of a government to exercise reasonable control over persons and property within its
jurisdiction in the interest of the general security, health, safety, morals and welfare except where legally
prohibited.

Q6: In your own understanding. Why is it considered the least limitable, and the most demanding among
the three powers?

- It is considered the least limitable, and the most demanding among the three powers because we interact
with it everyday and it involves in our daily life.

Q7: What is the Power of Eminent Domain?

-The power of Eminent domain is to allow the Government to get or to take partial of property like for
example, The road widening.

Q8: Why is the Power of Taxation important?


-Taxation is important because it support our Government and without taxation our country would not
improve.

Q9: In Section 1 of Article III of the 1987 Constitution. What is your own understanding of due process
of law? Explain.

-In Section 1 of Article III of the 1987 Constitution, The due process of law is the right of a person to give
reason or testament of his/her side.

Q10: What is the importance of due process of law?

- The importance of due process of law is to know and to listen what is the main reason of the accuse
person.

Q11: What is you understanding of equal protection of the laws as mentioned in Section 1, Article III of
the 1987 Constitution?

-All of us have rights and we should equally protected by the government and no one should have
favoritism, we all have rights to have protection.

Q12: In your own understanding. Explain, why are we protected against unreasonable searches and
seizures as mentioned in Section 2, Article III of the of Constitution.

- We are protected against unreasonable searches and seizures to avoid some bad incident, because some
of this are using their power to abuse other citizen like for example some police are searching without
proper warrant of arrest, that is the reason why we are being protected.

Q13: When can there be a valid search warrant?

-If there is an individual file a case or being detected doing illegal activity.

Q14: Give examples of valid warrantless arrests.

-A person have the record of robbery incident in their store.

Q15: What right is protected by Section 3 of Article III of the Constitution?

-The rights of the individual by limiting the lawful powers of the state.

Q16: In Section 4 of Article III of the 1987 Constitution. What is the importance of Freedom of
Expression?

-We all have a freedom of expression, to express What is our feeling, emotions and Thinking in our
surrounding.

Q17: Is the Freedom of Expression Absolute? Why?

-We have the freedom to do everything and To express our self to others but we should be careful and we
should know our limits.

Q18: What are the rights protected by section 4 of Article III of the Constitution?

- Section 4. No law shall be passed abridging the freedom of speech, of expression, or of the press, or the
right of the people peaceably to assemble and petition the government for redress of grievances.

Q19: What are the Two Aspects of Religious Freedom?


- The first is absolute as long as the belief is confined within the realm of thought. The second is subject
to regulation where the belief is translated into external acts that affect the public welfare.

Q20: In your own understanding, what is the Freedom of Religion?

- Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to
change his religion or belief and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or
private, to manifest his religion or belief, in worship, teaching practice and observance.
